Weekly Wrap-up image

We hope this week’s wrap-up finds you having had a great Thanksgiving and enjoying a long weekend. We’re excited because our Free Child ID event is underway! If you happen to see this in time, head over to the Quakertown United Methodist Church to get in on the fun and benefit Habitat for Humanity. Many thanks to the Quakertown Rotary Club for including us and to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department for providing the Child ID’s as well as Abigail Fillman and her team for putting this event together.

During this short week, Michael Kracht shared the importance of knowing the difference between full and limited tort when choosing your auto insurance coverage.

We also took a moment to count our blessings. Visit our Facebook page to see what our staff is thankful for this Thanksgiving and every day.

We’ve kept you long enough; time to resume holiday activities and fun! Thank you for reading our blog.

Weber Kracht and Chellew Presents Free Child ID Event Saturday, November 29

November 18, 2014 By WKCLawBlog

Heart_Handprints

Just in time to work off that extra piece of pumpkin pie, join us for the Habitat for Humanity 5K Saturday, November 29.

Presented by Quakertown Rotary Club and Quakertown United Methodist Church, this year we’re joining the event to provide FREE Child ID cards to all children participating in the Kids’ Fun Run. The Bucks County Sheriff’s Department will administer the Child ID cards inside the Quakertown United Methodist Church from 8 AM-12 Noon.

This Child ID event is arranged by a team from our firm, led by attorney Abigail Fillman. “We’re a community law firm, so we’re always looking for tangible ways to get involved with and add value to the communities we serve,” said Fillman.

Events like this are part of our corporate culture. Throughout the year, each attorney leads a team in creating and overseeing a community-minded event. From Kids’ Voting to the Perkasie FallFest 5K, you’ll often see members of our team wearing our “Usual Suspects” tee shirts and working the event.

The Habitat for Humanity 5K is perfect for both the seasoned and novice runner and promises fun for the entire family. After the 5K there will be raffles, prizes and a pizza, wings and soup buffet for all participants to enjoy.

To learn more about the Habitat for Humanity 5K or to register, visit www.QuakertownRotary.org.

Weekly Wrap-up image

We hope you’ve had a terrific week. Grab a mug of your favorite morning pick-me-up and catch up with all things Weber Kracht and Chellew.

First, we wanted to say yet again how incredibly proud we are of our firm administrator, Karen Chellew, for running a strong campaign to become the Pennsylvania state representative of the 145th district. Although the results were not in her favor, Karen and her team inspired many to focus on #communitynotpolitics.

A new series was launched within our blog, The Weber Kracht and Chellew Difference. Throughout this series, our attorneys will share firsthand experiences with our clients. This week, Abigail Fillman shares how going the extra mile with a client made all the difference in the client’s life.

#TBT (Throwback Thursday) took us back to Race Judicata. Held earlier this year. Race Judicata is organized by the the Bucks County Bar Association and raised funds for Legal Aid of Southeastern PA, an organization that provides free legal aid to local low-income and vulnerable residents.

Save the date for our  Child ID event on Saturday, November 29. We’re teaming up with the Quakertown Rotary Habitat 5K & Kids’ Fun Run. The Child ID is FREE of charge for all children participating in the Kids’ Fun Run. The Bucks County Sheriff”s Department will be administering the IDs inside the Quakertown United Methodist Church from 8am-12Noon. Learn more about the 5K and Kids’ Fun Run here and also here.

Grab your favorite mug and settle in for this week’s recap of news from Weber Kracht and Chellew.

We got to know Michael Kracht in the latest installment of our “Meet the Attorneys” series. He helped us make sense of our motor vehicle insurance policies in his blog post, “What Do All These Motor Vehicle Insurance Terms Mean?”

We celebrated #TBT (Throwback Thursday) with a look at even more terrific photos from the Perkasie FallFest 5K – take a look to see if you’re in the photo album!
