“Bebop Bolt at Bucks!” Color Dash Raises Nearly $3,400 for Got Strings? Youth Orchestra and Bucks County Community College Scholarships

October 23, 2015 By WKCLawBlog

We’re still humming from the great sounds provided by the Got Strings? Youth Orchestra at the “Bebop Bolt at Bucks!” Color Dash, which went on without a hitch on its rescheduled date of Sunday, October 11, 2015. Unlike the weather on the original date of October 4, runners had clear skies for this colorful event, held at Bucks County Community College’s Upper Bucks Campus.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and spirited runners, $3,397.46 was raised to benefit scholarships for both Got Strings? Youth Orchestra and Bucks County Community College scholarships.

Thanks to the Bucks County Herald and Perkasie Olde Towne Improvement Association for their event coverage.

Many thanks to Bucks County non-profit Sisters U, Bucks County Community College and Perkasie Borough for making such a terrific team!

Here are some more photos from the day – thanks to Stephen Brown and Looking Glass Photography for always making us look great!

The Year in Review at Weber Kracht and Chellew

December 30, 2014 By WKCLawBlog

It’s hard to believe it’s time to say goodbye to 2014.

This year we were proud to serve our community in a number of ways: a Back to School supply drive, sponsoring the Perkasie FallFest 5K, providing pro bono services, helping to present a Child ID event and bringing smiles – and Santa Claus – to the residents of the Belle Haven Nursing Home.

Our attorneys, always eager to help, shared their expertise in the areas of Constitutional law, real estate, non-profits, insurance, estate planning and small business counseling.

We hope you are looking toward 2015 with anticipation and wish you all the best in the coming New Year.

Child ID Event at Habitat for Humanity 5K at Hit!

December 4, 2014 By WKCLawBlog

Thanksgiving weekend we teamed up with the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department to provide free Child ID cards to all participants of the Habitat for Humanity 5K Kids’ Fun Run, which was presented by the Quakertown Rotary Club and Quakertown United Methodist Church.

This particular event was arranged by a team led by attorney Abigail Fillman, who explained “We’re a community law firm, so we’re always looking for tangible ways to get involved with and add value to the communities we serve.”

Events like this are part of our corporate culture. Throughout the year, each attorney leads a team in creating and overseeing a community-minded event. From Kids’ Voting to the Perkasie FallFest 5K, you’ll often see us wearing our “Usual Suspects” tee shirts and working the event.
