Help Us Donate to Quakertown Youth at The Drop

May 13, 2019 By WKC Law

Rick Howard presents the first round of donations from the WKC Team to The Drop.

Rick Howard is a board member of The Drop, a resource of the Quakertown Community Center which is a safe space for area youth to hang out after school on Mondays and Wednesdays to do homework and spend time with their peers. The Drop keeps non-perishable snack items on hand, as many of these youth are members of families in need.

The Drop needs our help right now to replenish their stock of snack supplies: granola bars, crackers, snack size bags of chips, etc. If you feel compelled to help, you may bring donations here to the office or drop them off at The Drop, located at 50 N. 4th Street in Quakertown. Thank you for your consideration.

Here Comes Santa Claus!

December 24, 2014 By WKCLawBlog

We hinted on our Facebook page that we were up to something this week. That “something” was a trip to Belle Haven Nursing Home to provide a holiday lunch for the residents. We were even lucky enough to have Santa Claus join us for the fun!

Many thanks to attorney Mike Frisbie and his team for making the season brighter for these wonderful seniors. Enjoy more photos here.

Weekly Wrap-up image

Welcome to November! We hope you had a safe and happy Halloween and are looking forward to an extra hour of sleep when Daylight Savings Time ends tonight. We’re still thrilled that our colleague, firm administrator Karen Chellew, received one of the very few endorsements given by The Intelligencer this election year. If you didn’t know, Karen is running for election as State Representative for the 145th District of the Pennsylvania Legislature. We are incredibly proud of her. Read The Intelligencer endorsement here.

We unveiled our plans to provide a Child ID event in conjunction with the Quakertown Rotary Habitat 5K & Kids’ Fun Run Saturday, November 29. The Child ID is FREE of charge for all children participating in the Kids’ Fun Run. The Bucks County Sheriff”s Department will be administering the IDs inside the Quakertown United Methodist Church from 8am-12Noon. Learn more about the 5K and Kids’ Fun Run here and also here.

We also got to know more about Rick Howard, who in turn helped navigate the potential pitfalls of nonprofit management via this week’s blog post.

Our #TBT moment took us to the very recent past, with a sneak peek at a photo shoot with the firm by Steve Brown of Looking Glass Photography.
