As we enter the Green Phase of operation here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, we want to provide you with an update. The move from Yellow to Green has little effect on our mode of operation, so we will continue operating under the same protocol as below.

In accordance with Governor Wolf’s guidelines, we will be re-opening our office on Friday, June 5, 2020 and will be implementing the following guidelines which we ask anyone who is visiting our office comply with to ensure the health and safety of our employees and clients:

1. We ask that only clients who have scheduled appointments visit our office.  If you have a matter that you would like to discuss with one of our attorneys and or staff members, kindly call our office to arrange for an appointment.
2. If you are feeling ill or running a fever, we ask that you do not visit our office and request that you call to re-schedule your appointment.
3. When you arrive at our office for your scheduled appointment, we ask that you wear a face covering, maintain social distancing, and use the hand sanitizer provided.

UPDATE 6/4/20 — Transition to the Yellow Phase, Re-opening Our Office

As we continue navigating the challenges of uncertain times, the safety, well‑being of and best interests our clients and staff remain our top priority. Rest assured that in compliance with Governor Wolf’s March 19 order, we will be working remotely to protect and safeguard your legal interests. Attorneys, paralegals, and staff can be reached via e-mail and will respond to your communication in a timely fashion Together we will get through this while continuing to take proactive, smart actions consistent with those priorities building trust and providing solutions. When this emergency is over, we will all be viewed by our actions taken during this crisis. Please be safe and well, continue social distancing and rest assured we are with you and remain ready by phone, email and other remote access to protect your interests.

Our thoughts remain with all who have been affected by this virus, as well as the health professionals working to care for them. We are not taking this virus lightly. The local and national implications of COVID-19 are changing daily, and we will continue to assess our policies to ensure that we meet the legal needs of our clients while working to keep our clients and employees safe. UPDATE 3/16/20: In light of the March 16, 2020 restrictions, during regular business hours and until March 31, 2020, we will not be meeting with clients at our office. Many of us will be in the office, and some may be working remotely. Should you have an appointment to meet with us during this period, we will be contacting you to discuss alternative arrangements. If you have information you need to provide to us, we ask that you email or mail it to us, or call to make other arrangements. Thank you and be well.

In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading across the country, we are monitoring the situation very closely and are following the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the local county health department.  At this time, our office is open and fully staffed.  This may change depending upon the mandates issued by the Government within the days to come.  If we are directed to close our office by Government officials, we will do our best to advise you.  Our goal is to continue to meet our clients’ legal needs, now and throughout this crisis, while maintaining the health and safety of our staff.

In the event that our office closes, rest assured that we have a plan in place which will allow our attorneys and paralegals to work remotely.  We will address your needs and mitigate any delay or disruption to the extent possible, and we will be able to continue to be responsive to your legal needs throughout any potential shutdowns or quarantines that may be established in an effort to contain the outbreak.  Attorneys and paralegals can be reached via e-mail and will respond to your communication in a timely fashion.  We are aware and are monitoring developments which occur in the various courts, including Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Philadelphia, Lehigh, and Northampton counties as well as the Federal Courts.

In an effort to reduce the spread of this virus and keep our staff healthy, we have instituted the following protocol:

• All staff have been instructed to stay home, if they feel sick or are experiencing cough, fever, sore throat, or shortness of breath.
• All staff who have recently travelled to an area subject to a Level 3 or Level 4 Travel Advisory by the U. S. Department of State or have been in contact with a  person who has tested positive for  COVID-19 shall  self-quarantine for a period of not less than fourteen days.
• Staff have been asked to avoid all meetings, conferences, and other gatherings of people whenever possible, and to practice social distancing.
• Staff have been instructed to wash their hands as often as possible during the workday.
• Antiseptic wipes have been provided throughout the Firm, and increased cleaning as well as disinfection, has been undertaken.

We are asking our clients to do their part in helping to control the spread of this virus and keep our staff and community healthy. Any client, for any reason, can request to reschedule appointments to a later date or to conduct meetings by telephone.  We would recommend any client in a high risk category concerning infection by COVID-19 to please consider changing in-person meetings to a phone conference. Clients with draft documents needing review, edits, or execution can arrange to have us undertake these actions in person or via mail, email, and/or online services.

Please note that if you are sick (whether or not from COVID-19); are under quarantine; have been exposed to someone within the past two weeks who may have contracted COVID-19;  or have travelled within the past two weeks to a  location with an active COVID-19  outbreak;  we request that you inform us of this fact, so that we can reschedule any in-person meeting to a later date or conduct such meeting by phone.
