Don’t Be Afraid of Your Attorney

December 26, 2017 By WKC Law

Rick Howard Don't Fear Your AttorneyIn keeping with Attorney Rick Howard‘s recent blog post about facing you “F.E.A.R.” in business, here is additional encouragement should you find yourself in a situation where legal counsel could save you a lot of worry. As he shares here, don’t be afraid of your attorney. We’re here to help.

If you look hard enough at any situation, you can find a solution. That is one of my guiding principles as a person and as I act on a client’s behalf as legal counsel.

I recently shared this during a talk at the Pennridge Business Network, advising them — and you — “Don’t be afraid of your attorney.” I and my colleagues here at Weber Kracht and Chellew are here to act as your advocate. We know that a well-counseled client is protected in ways he or she may not even realize.

Working to anticipate any issues related to your case or concern, we take pride in looking out for your rights. We believe that paying attention and caring makes all the difference.

It all starts with a conversation. If you have a concern or legal issue, let’s talk about it. Contact us today.

Richard Howard, Jr. is one of the most respected, dedicated and hard-working litigation attorneys in Bucks County. As a trusted advocate and co
unsel for his clients, Rick draws upon his strong judgment, undaunted work ethic, and extensive 24-year experience handling wide varieties of challenging and simple civil litigation matters, to effectively handle each client’s most difficult legal matters in today’s world. Rick prides himself on getting to the “real issue,” in truly relating to each situation, and doing what is “right” for his clients and in accordance with the Golden Rule.

Thanksgiving is Good for You

November 23, 2016 By WKC Law

thanksgiving-word-cloud-1024x357

Thanksgiving 2016 is upon us and we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for our clients, friends, and the community we serve.

Thanksgiving also brings to mind favorite dishes and treats we love to enjoy but don’t consider “good for us.” Thanksgiving, however, as a whole is good for us because at the root of this day is gratitude.

Gratitude is good for you. Thanksgiving is good for you.

Forbes shares seven ways daily gratitude is good for our mental and physical well-being:

1. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.

2. Gratitude improves physical health.

3. Gratitude improves psychological health.

4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.

5. Grateful people sleep better.

6. Gratitude improves self-esteem.

7. Gratitude increases mental strength.

As we share this year’s Thanksgiving meal with friends and loved ones, let’s also make a promise to ourselves to be grateful each and every day.

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone here at Weber Kracht and Chellew.

The Weber Kracht and Chellew Word of the Month: Embrace

March 21, 2016 By WKCLawBlog

glassmanquoteOur Word of the Month for March is: Embrace.

Embrace. To “hold (someone) closely in one’s arms, especially as a sign of affection.”

Taking the word’s meaning a bit farther, to embrace is also to “accept or support (a belief, theory, or change) willingly and enthusiastically.”

In today’s world, when we’re faced with the issues and circumstances of life, “embrace” can be the last thing we want to do. Sometimes, however, a small shift in perspective or reaching out to ask for help can be all we need to embrace the challenges we meet.

What does “embrace” mean for you this month?

2015 Year in Review at Weber Kracht and Chellew

December 31, 2015 By WKCLawBlog

2015 Year End Blog Montage

As we pause before celebrating the arrival of 2016, we want to thank our friends, clients, and colleagues for a meaningful and successful 2015. We don’t exist without you and we are so very glad you choose us to represent, guide and advise you during the most important times of your lives.

It is also because of you that we are able to be supportive of the community we serve. This year alone we collaborated with Bucks County Community College for the Bebop Bolt at Bucks Color Dash, raising $4,300 in scholarship funds for BCCC students and the young musicians of Got Strings? Youth Orchestra.

We had the opportunity to mingle with the “Business After Hours” mixer we co-hosted at the firm with Sisters U and the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce. It’s always a pleasure to meet new people and catch up with old friends.

Santa joined the firm – for a day – and accompanied attorney Mike Frisbie’s team to Rockhill Mennonite Community’s Personal Care Center. It’s one of the highlights of the year to spend time handing out presents and singing carols with the residents.

And we had the privilege of collaborating with ten fellow local businesses to collect 897lbs of winter clothing for Pennridge FISH. It doesn’t get much better than that.

We close this year with “Promise” as our word of the month. It is our desire that your year ends on a note of promise for a wonderful, healthy and prosperous 2016.
