Weber Kracht and Chellew in the Community: Inspiring the Next Generation

April 17, 2017 By WKC Law

Success PosterEach year professionals from across the Pennridge region spend time in the classrooms of Pennridge Central Middle School for Career Day. Designed to inspire as well as help the Pennridge Central Middle School 8th graders become more focused on their career choices as high school approaches, attorney Sandy Jainauth-Barone joined the doctors, mechanics, accountants, and other professionals sharing the ins and outs of their chosen vocations.

During their time together, Sandy shared the qualifications and qualities required to become an attorney including a review of her resume. As Sandy told the class, “It’s never too early to start thinking about your resume.” She also touched on the basics of choosing a career in law, such as the level and cost of education and the Bar Exam.

Sandy Jainauth-BaroneShe led the students through a visualization exercise, asking them to close their eyes and picture themselves 10-15 years in the future as an attorney. What would their professional lives be like? Some of the students pictured themselves arguing a case before a judge, others saw themselves dressed nicely and working in a beautiful office.

Sandy shared that the practice of law offers many opportunities for the students to follow their passions. So, if a student is interested in animal rights, sports, or music, there is an aspect of the law that will apply. “You can align your legal career with the pursuits you love.”

Many thanks to Glenn Donaldson and Pennridge Central Middle School for this opportunity to contribute to our community.

Sandy Jainauth-Barone is known as a tenacious advocate for her clients in Bucks and Montgomery counties and beyond. Drawing on her life experience and expertise, Sandy strives to provide sound, practical advice to her clients. Her dedication, focus, and genuine care for her work on behalf of her clients are evident in every case.

Beth Hartman LCT Mike Frisbie WKC
Beth Hartman, Lutheran Community at Telford manager of sales and marketing and Weber Kracht & Chellew attorney Mike Frisbie

Weber Kracht & Chellew is your community law firm. We say that a lot because we mean it. One of our favorite activities as a firm is to participate in community events and help you, members of our community, learn more about matters that affect your lives.

That is exactly what took place recently when Attorney Mike Frisbie gave a talk on estate planning to residents and guests of the Lutheran Community at Telford.

Mike outlined the basics of estate planning — wills, trusts and beneficiary designations, powers of attorney, and advance health directives – during his 90-minute talk which included a comprehensive Q&A session.

“We had a great turnout for the session at the Lutheran Community at Telford. The attendees had good questions that enhanced our time together,” said Frisbie. “I’m grateful to everyone who came to the talk and to the Lutheran Community at Telford for inviting me to speak.”

Christmas Dinner for Families in Need

December 21, 2016 By WKCLawBlog

It’s no cliche; we really do thrive on giving back to our community. This year we held a Holiday Food Bag Drive to benefit the families served by our friends at Pennridge FISH.

The result? Nineteen bags of food destined for the tables of local families in need. Each bag contained a complete holiday meal including applesauce, yams, green beans, fried onions, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, cranberry sauce, corn, canned fruit and a ham.

We are longtime supporters of Pennridge FISH. In addition to attorney Michael Kracht serving on the board, our 2015 Winter Clothing Drive – thanks to you and the help of local businesses – yielded 897lbs of clothing.
